The Pastoral Care mission is compassion for the hurting. At Parkview Baptist Church we desire to have our members healthy and spiritually strong in order to give our best in worshiping and serving Jesus. Therefore, we offer a ministry that our lay people can train to minister in and a staff member can focus on helping people have fulfilling relationships with themselves, others and with God.

First Place 4 Health (three times a year) is a Christ-centered weight-loss and healthy-living program which has guided hundreds of thousands of people to a healthy lifestyle.
Military Support- helping military personal with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and support for spouse.
Pastoral Counseling:
We offer discipleship counseling plus refer people to Christian counselors in the area.
We require and delight in offering pre-marital counseling. It is important to prepare for this awesome day as your present yourself before God offering Him your vows.
We offer marriage enrichment seminars as well as discipleship counseling to develop skills that win in marriage.
We offer parenting seminars to help parents with all stages of their child’s life.
We offer chemical support groups for those struggling with addiction. We assist our members who are related to our ministry, in going to the Home of Grace Rehab in Vancleave, MS
Any one who is struggling spiritually, we embrace them and help them experience victory.
