The Community Ministry is designed to build relationships with our neighbors through ministry. It is the hope of Parkview Baptist Church that as these relationships are developed people will see God at work. Community Ministry leaders go on location to apartments, duplexes, mobile homes, and condos to offer Bible study, arts & crafts, music, games, refreshments and special events.
Community Ministry is based out of the Helping Hands Center at 6011 Parkview Church Rd.(two story white house across the street from Building C of Parkview Baptist Church). The phone number is 225.296.0487.
Educational Programs:
Community Ministry offers tutoring on Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:30 p.m. during the school year. GED Classes are conducted on Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:00 p.m. during the school year.
